In this particular job I helped a small software company create manuals for their Mac and Windows genealogy software. I was responsible for the full production, including some of the writing.
The manuals needed to show new users, and potential customers, how fun and easy the software is to use. It was to cross age barriers with the idea that grandparents and grandchildren would both be able to use the product with ease.
Interactive pdfs were included with the Mac and Windows software. The above manual was to reflect the same feeling as the pdfs. The pdf was set up with live links throughout allowing the reader to easily move around from within the document.
